Happy Sunday SG people!! Another crazy ass day at work. It was super busy again, and we got hit early in the morning. It took 3 cooks, instead of the usual 2 to push us through the hump. The third person was the boss and after yesterday's performance from us and the floor staff, he was worried that it would go to hell again...

What a shit show at work today. We were so behind on orders that our ticket times were about 25 minutes. That is double what I like them to be. We had about 8 orders in the kitchen, then we got about 15 more, and that is when we fell behind. It didn't help that there were a couple "i forgot to punch this...

It seems like I am having one of those days again. I have been trying to post only positive stuff here, but sometimes it is difficult. I want to try to keep it positive because people never know what to say when your life is not turning out as expected. Also, I am not looking for sympathy here, just friends.

I went to Chinatown here...

Hey there SG, another glimpse into my boring and uneventful life. Not much to say for today. Went out to bring Jen to a doctor appointment for her arthritis, then we went to do groceries.

Talked to my cousin in Colorado tonight and we started planning a trip to England to see where out ancestors came from. Originally my families roots are in Wales, but...

Hey there SG, what a day have I had. It was really busy at work for both lunch and dinner as well as Uber Eats. It has not been that busy on a week night since before Christmas. Just to give you an idea, I work alone from 3 to 8, although 8 became 930 because it was so busy, and I had so much...

Oh, poor Shadow. Cats and pills are always a complicated relationship!

The pills are actually easier than the liquid, shooting liquid into her mouth with a syringe while trying to hold her is nearly impossible

Hey there SG land, I know that I have missed a blog here and there, but sometimes life gets in the way. The weekend was busy at work, and I replaced someone on Monday morning, my usual day off. Not much to report about yesterday or today, no problems with anyone and it wasn't that busy, I am just tired from working an extra...

What's up SG? I know that I missed my blog yesterday, but I was so bagged after work. We did 408, the most since before Christmas. A waitress who usually only works during the week, but was replacing someone today asked me and the other cook how we put up with this insanity every weekend? Today wasn't even as busy as yesterday. Today...

Hey there people, what is going on in SG land tonight? Not much for me to report tonight, I have work in the morning, I have to get up at 545 to get to work for 630. Not looking forward to going in, I have to work with the asshole again. I am getting very tired of getting picked on, and am looking for something...

Be strong, @xenopus9. 🤗 How is your work on your short stories coming?

Spent a nice quiet day today. I went out to go to the bank, buy some cat food and get some beer. I looked at a lot of SG stuff and made a bunch of comments on sets and pictures. Found a couple more Brazilian SG's that are gorgeous. I really do seem to have a thing for Brazilians. I am not complaining, they...

An interesting day for me, but not in a good way. Jen had three different appointments at the hospital today. Blood work, an EKG and an appointment with her cardiologist. She is iron deficient, salt deficient and has thyroid problems. She has been put on supplements for the iron and salt, and thyroid medication for her low thyroid. Hopefully this will make her healthier, because...

If Jen hasn’t been treated for thyroid issues before, @xenopus9, the supplemental hormones can make a HUGE difference. I know first hand; my thyroid is so dysfunctional at this point, that I would go into a coma and die without the supplemental TS4 and TS3 that I take every few hours. However, with the hormones, I can lead an almost normal life. You may want to recommend that she have her adrenal glands checked as well; when one’s thyroid is not working well for a long time, the adrenals try to compensate, resulting in excess cortisol which can cause problems with sleep and increase weight gain, especially in persons who don’t mind their diet. There is also a condition called Schmidt’s Syndrome in which both the thyroid and the adrenal glands are affected. I hope that an improvement in her health is on the horizon. 🤞 Hang In there! 🤗

Happy Tuesday SG! My first day back at work, and it was a bit of a shitty one. Got picked on again, and my skills were questioned again. At least he didn't attack my music today. He has said that if he had to listen to my music for much longer, he would commit suicide. Just to give everyone an idea of what is...

Your taste in music sounds so good, this guy sucks!!

Hey there SG, I am still recovering from my two day headache. The headache may be gone, but I always get a migraine hangover. It might be from the headache or it may be from the drugs that I take to get rid of the pain. Anyways, I think the only good thing to come out of this was no drinking for three days. At...

Awesome pics; I was curious about your username! “Xeno” is from the Greek for “foreign,” if I remember correctly, and “pus” by itself is gross, but tacked onto the end of “xeno,” makes me think of “octopus,” so something like “unknown entity like an octopus” (implying an indeterminate number of arms) came to my mind, which is kind of Lovecraftian, lol! What’s the significance of “9?” Have you thought of fighting back musically? You could simply pay no attention to music for a day and play nothing but the most raucous and annoying Punk you can find, just to annoy your detractor. Or you could go my way - Maria Brink of In This Moment expresses such amazing rage when she sings, it’s just beautiful and phenomenal. “Roots” “Blood,” and  “Whore” are some of my faves, and “You’re Gonna Listen” contains the line “Shut, shut, shut, shut the fuck up!” which might get your point across. Of course, I’m a girl, so these song choices make sense for me; but music that makes you feel empowered might help. “Screaming For Vengeance,” and “The Sentinel” by Judas Priest come to mind. Again, I’m a Goth Girl, so Lzzy Hale also speaks to me. Lol, I just remembered, when I was at university in the dormitory, I had neighbors next door that would blast their music at such s volume that you could hear it down the hall; I lacked the confidence to confront them back then, so I would plug in my electric guitar and turn the volume up and play some metal or hard rock; I think I would play “Jacob’s Ladder” by Rush because of the noisy solo notes and thunderous rhythm guitar riff in the middle. They didn’t realize what I was doing at first, but when I turned the volume up so it competed with their music, they finally got the point. It was an issue, because I was going to school in the morning and working the graveyard shift at night. 🙃 Anyway, Good Luck! 💗💜🖤🤗
