I made chicken strips for the family today. My brother and the kids are back, so I'm cooking for eight again. I forgot how much work it is, but it's fine. I'm happy to be helpful. The chicken itself came out beautifully. Nice crunchy crust, and perfect, juicy inside.
But that's where the problem arose. It was perfectly cooked, but the texture felt weird to me today. So, I found myself unable to eat even the corn or mac and cheese that I made with it.
So yeah, the texture of the meal made me unable to eat it. Fun times. And people out there really think that we're choosing to be like this for attention? Autism isn't something you choose to be for funsies...
Also, I haven't annoyed you all with a post about my novel in a while. Why not click the link and check out the free preview? Maybe it'll be interesting enough to buy a copy.
