So, a couple days ago, I posted a blog saying that I was going to try to send out more query letters to try to get representation for my novel. Because I decided that it wasn't time to give up on the dream of being published.
I have spent the last several days fighting with my laptop, which at around 13 years old, is a dinosaur at this point. It's been on life support for years, but I think it finally flatlined.
Before, I was able to turn the damn thing on long enough to send an email, or transfer files from one storage device to another. But that was it, 10 to 15 minutes of activity only before it would freeze up. Now it won't even let me do that.
I even went so far as to take the damn thing apart to see if anything was wrong internally. Other than a little dust, nothing really stood out.
So, I now officially have no way of doing what I need to do. Not giving up, just trying to figure out how I'm going to get access to a word processor now that my ancient laptop is officially dead.
