Man, it's nice being able to talk to another writer. My friend came in from Miami this weekend, and he brought a friend with him. I feel bad because I didn't catch his name, but we spent a lot of time talking about the different projects we're working on and venting about the difficulties of writing. It was nice having someone who knows what I'm going through in terms of my writing. In the process of the conversation, my friend mentioned to me that there's an opportunity in Miami that I should try out. Apparently there's a program where you submit a play you wrote and if it gets selected you get a 5000 dollar grant to put on the play. It's a small production, but it would be something cool to put on a resume.
