So the results of spending several months on three different dating sites are starting to come in. I'm active, I send messages (lots of messages) in attempts to reach out to potential dates. I filled out the profiles and included pictures, answered the little questions they all have, the whole nine yards. Basically what I'm getting from all of his time and effort is the realization that I'm apparently undateable. Of the dozens upon dozens of messages I've sent out, usually introducing myself and asking them about themselves, not a single response has been sent. I know that they got the message because the site informs me that they viewed my profile, but they don't move past that. What doesn't help is that the pay site I decided to try refuses to give me matches in the city that I live in, they're all from various other parts of the country and none of them seem all that eager to respond to a message from someone in another city. So yeah, that's money down the toilet. And no, I'm not looking at the hottest chicks on the site expecting responses. I've sent messages to women of all shapes and sizes on these sites and gotten zero responses.
Sigh... maybe it's just time to concede defeat and move on with my life. You know, watch everyone I know find someone, fall in love, and get married. While I just sit here and proceed to... die alone.
