Well now, sitting at work again. I finished my work for today, and now I'm trying to get started on a paper proposal that's due tomorrow. Trying to connect three different books written during the Cold War era via apocalyptic themes and imagery. Not too hard, except finding the right way to word the damn thing is killing me. Assuming I ever finish, I then get to continue working on the presentation I have to give on Thursday. I've done minimal work on that, I might just be screwed...
I just have to survive the last few weeks and I'll be good. Just a few more weeks.
In less stressful news, it seems I might be heading out to Austin in early August to visit a friend. Woo! Roadtrip! Hopefully it doesn't fall through on me. I need to get out of this city for a while.
