Gotta love it when things work out like this. So me and my friend were sitting in my car smoking a cigarette right now, and around 3:45 or so in the morning I decide to change the music to A Silent Film (I can't stop listening to that band...). The song comes on and he suddenly says, "Are you trying to tell me something?" as he points to the radio. It says, You Will Leave... which I see and start cracking up. The song is You Will Leave A Mark, but the rest got cut off so he was jokingly saying I was telling him to go home already. Always great when things happen like that.
Finished The Road today. Fucking amazing book that I'll definitely be reading a few more times. I still don't know what I'm going to write about, but I'm sure it'll come from that book. So that's one class beginning to be covered. The Keats class still has me stumped though. No idea what I'm going to do there, poetry's not the easiest subject for me to write about. I can write poetry, but not about poetry.
Got all my paperwork turned in to the writing center on campus, so hopefully they call soon about a job.
I still can't get out of this slump. I need to be writing. I just don't feel right when I don't write, but I can't seem to get myself started again.
I did recently hear back from a friend about some of the poetry I've written. Good reviews, so I feel good about that. Always nice to hear good things about your work. I just wish she was better at staying in contact, it would be nice to actually talk about it, find out what specifically worked and what didn't. I just don't have anyone willing to do that unfortunately.

I'm the opposite way with poetry, no good at writing it, but I love learning and pondering about it. So much symbolism and hidden stories. I had an awesome teacher in high school who taught us about different poets and how to look at their writing in new ways, it's difficult for me to see the stories on my own sometimes, but so awesome when I have someone help me out. Robert Frost is my favorite.
