the commercials are insane - if not inane - and the extremism ( yes, on both sides ) is absolutely absurd
yes, I already did my early voting - if anything to avoid the weirdness I expect election day itself... and the much longer walk to the election day polling place ;)
I know what direction I want to see the country go - but I also know the state I live in... and the absurd state of current politics

ANYways... otherwise October has been busy!
busy with work, busy with Lodge and Lodge-related, and I've even had opportunities with the NHPD Reserve !
I've been asked before what I would do if I won millions or if I'd keep working...
honestly, it depends - with enough volunteering to keep me busy, I wouldn't need to work, but I would at least lessen my work hours if I had the $$$
I'm a guy that likes to keep busy - particulary in the cold, bitter, barren months of late fall/winter/early spring that takes up 1/2 or more of MN seasons
* deep sigh *
this is another reason I'm upping my time outside of work - with the NHPD Reserve I'm not part of, with increasing how I'm assisting with Lodge, etc
my daughters are getting older - my youngest a Sr in HS and whence they turn 18 end-of-May that's it for them on a schedule with visting me :(
I only hope I raised them intelligently and lovingly, acting with their minds and hearts in a wise and researched fashion
and since it's been a month...
