Now less than 2 weeks from the 1st vaca of the year - beginning with the MN Gr Ldge Communication and the week to follow
no real plans beyond Grand Lodge & Lodge, but I'm sure I'll find something that'll keep me busy physically as well as mentally :)
in the next couple weeks I should hear from the local PD Reserves as well for when my training will begin...
yes, I was accepted into the local PD Reserves ! - it should be a great way for me to be more involved in the community as a volunteer assisting the local PD
yes, I'm aware of the negative views on PD and associated, but I've always had the interest and now that my daughters are older, why not ?
so...
not a huge lot to talk about in any specifics this particular posting, but still fun and big things on the horizon !

3/1 : it's just wickedly funny to me as I'm going to sleep, seeing flashing lights off my deck followed by hearing an officer loudly stating "you do realize not only are you underage for smoking pot, but it's illegal to do so in a motor vehicle ?" :D
3/1 II : 1st morning of the apt complex being under new ownership - and, of course, I awaken to there being no hot water... and a pile of work equipment just outside my apt door. I can only hope this isn't an omen of what to expect, though this time the complex owners are *in* state !

3/21 : 1927 gave us the 1st full-length talkie w/ dialogue ( albeit limited )... hey, tinseltown, you have less than 3yrs to give us some new & exciting cinematic technological experience !
