BUT here we are, the morning of the first full day of my last vacation of the year...
a lot I could do, a lot I should do, and a few things to fill up the time between
the ex-wife's mother passed and her funeral is today, so I've left myself available to assist where I can for her and the girls
will be visiting a couple of Lodges during the week - always looking forward to meeting new Brothers and visiting Lodges I've never been to
and - yes - we do have some storms incoming for the week... which we could've used earlier in the summer, but *shrugs*
better than not at all ? it's been a very dry summer, the grass barely growing and the weeds intense, taking advantage of the dryness :(
my eldest daughter turns 18 this month, so - * sighs * - I have only one weekend remaining with her before it's her choice whether to visit or not
:(
it's been wonderful seeing her grow and mature, but she'll always be my baby
just hopefully she'll remember her fathre and visit on occasion :)
ANYways, I've been lazy enough for this morning and should at least get out a bit to enjoy what's left of the summertide - the wintertide is long enough and summertide so so short...

7/22 : it may seem hard to believe, but we CAN have differing opinions & ideas w/ different solutions AND still be civil & honest with these opinions & ideas without espousing hatred, initiating violence, or casting aspersions on the other - stop the vilification & ignorance already !
8/11 : for the next 229hrs this station is conducting a test of its last vacation of the year :) - nothing big beyond funeral, assisting where necessary, and a couple of local Lodge visits planned... I'd better enjoy it, it's quite a ways before warm weather hits next year !
