getting through thus far, keeping myself distracted as possible
...especially this weekend, being what it is *sighs*
moving on...
I've always been an "odd man out."
The ways I speak & express myself, I've discovered, are either unique or unusual.
I enjoy working ( I know, really weird, right? ).
I used to volunteer most of my spare time, when I had ways & means to do so (vehicle, rides, nearby, etc)...
admittedly I miss all the volunteering, but it's costly to get where the opportunities are nowadays.
when the cost of volunteering surpasses food & paying bills & supporting my daughters, then volunteering goes to the wayside *sighs*
Nothing within walking distance, unfortunately - or, when there is, it's during work hours :(
I'm thankful I discovered Lodge & Ram/York - and soon Shriners - but can only do so much there, too.
Daughters are midteen & older now, so I'm not a 'necessity' in their lives anymore, really.
I do most things alone - always have, so that's not new - it's just getting harder to do things.
Haven't had a relationship since the ex-wife, so 14yrs+ - no surprise there, either, nor expectations - just sayin'.
Friends still living are mostly miles & hours away and/or living their own lives fully...
which is understandable, of course - so, yeah, I live a semi-lonely life...
just as I have for over 40yrs. Again, nothing new, really.
Again, thankful for Lodge & Ram/York & (soon) Shriners...
wonderful people to be around and provides opportunity to do & be & assist on occasion.
ANYways...
sorry for the rare postings & the ones I do post being pretty "meh" and just kinda ... there.

5/26 : dreamage :: being a part of a 3-man-guitar-band ( lead, rhythm, & bass ) in 'arena cowboy attire' calling ourselves New, Modern, & Primitive ( due to other members being 21 & 35 ), playing mostly rock-n-roll covers of various genres :)
6/21 : why are/do so many UPS drivers lazy and/or don't care ? a package wasn't delivered, DESPITE there being delivery boxes AND the office now receiving packages again... so instead of a 2nd attempt, it was directly taken to an "access point" - which I walked to, waited, waited... and they were closed - and will remain closed until temps are cooler, apparently, since they're a health place >:(
WTF ?!?
6/30 : weirdly/amazingly I found out why my deck paneling hasn't been fixed yet ( and why the building's stairs are mostly torn up and [etc] )... and via an e'mail, no less, not the new owner's website this time!
7/3 (~6p) : girls picked up... all is quiet again... now what to do for the next ~34hrs
