Well, the year ended as it had began - with my fathre in GF ICU *sighs*
on the "good" end of things, he isn't in sepsis & is aware, though drugged up, far unlike last year's ICU & long stretch to semi-recovery
times like this I'm not entirely certain that it's great that I have the "stubborn" bloodline
I know with everything I've gone through in my life & survived, I ended up with many physical issues & constant/consistant pain ( albiet some from birth issues, too )
so, there's an absolute hope that this will be a faster recovery for the 'Elder Tom'
that they can actually get things figured out rather than convoluted/confused & uncertain
one way or another, this has to pick a direction rather than just a 'holding pattern' of "he may be ok"/"he may not be ok" :(
Returning to the initial 'first off' - I'm serious...
one thing we've learned this year is people are far too reactionary & even when truth is (finally) exposed, continue to believe the initial falsehoods & react, react, react
another thing we've learned this year is people - at least locally - react illegally ... and largely get away with it >:(
violent crime is at its highest since I moved to the Cities ... it's hit records - and that's NOT a good thing
SO... let's get back to the support of laws, of civil activities, of being supportive & thoughtful
let's have criminals PAY for their crimes, for the destruction, the looting, the arson, the rapes, the murders
let's have those that support these criminals held accountable for allowing & supporting the criminal activities
let's recognize & be aware of the difference between True protesting & the bullshit illegal activities we've seen
let's get rid of these autonomous zones that do nothing more than give criminals free reign & a place to run to
let's stop matyring criminals & their like, stop making them into icons that crime is ok, that you can do anything if it's anti-PD
and, BY GODS, let's support those that support & uphold the law, that protect citizens & reduce crime - the Police !
