Just as I've done for decades, I did absolutely nothing for my b'day *smirks*
my fathre called late that night ( it's his b'day today )...
'course, he humorously forgot when I was born, thinking I'd just turned 55 ( fyi : he was off a wee bit, thinking me older than I am )
no worries, though, he'd been forgetting a few things since all the chaos earlier this year...
I suppose being on the verge of death for months will have some affect on you mentally - and he's not getting any younger ;)
we broke out of our 90s weather streak, a sign of summertide on its way out, I suppose *sighs*
( yes, I absolutely hate winterlude, it lasts far, far, far too long here :( )
being 'that season' ( b'day, sister's death-versary, etc ), no, I didn't really do a thing lately beyond work, reading, & watching films
pretty much the norm for me - even before her death, I didn't celebrate my b'day, just wasn't my... thing...
since her death, though, little things get to me during this season
little things can easily trigger... moments... *shrugs*
guess it is what it is

7/8 : If "social distance" is 6ft, then it stands to reason "anti-social distance" is twice that (12ft), so - mathematically - "covid-19-brand anti-social distance" is now 20ft, give or take a foot
7/8 II : that was fairly amusing, actually ... a delivery driver made it all the way here, then had to head back to the store & then return - they had grabbed the wrong (empty!) bag for delivery & returned to bring me my actual delivery :D
