this is all the more omnipresent, if not outright NECESSARY, in these chaotic, disturbed days we are living in
we have seen, baldfaced & screaming, what mankind is capable of, in all-too negative fashion
BUT we must be a better example, curbing our impulsiveness, thinking before reacting, & being aware of the examples that we set
in our words, but MOST highly in our ACTIONS, being the better of mankind in the face of adversity
helping out brethren (of course), BUT also knowing WHEN to help & WHAT manner - knowing what will hinder rather than support, no matter it's intent
what a grand example we are, what a grand example we make, in the hopes that others can & will follow a better path than what we & they have witnessed others do, rashly & destructively
*whew*
...will it really be 29 weeks tomorrow that I wrote that first posting regarding The Bettering/Third Iteration Of Self ?

Obviously I had no idea at that point what was to come for the months to follow :
personally, with my fathre
(inter)nationally, with the covid-19 epidemic
locally, with the rioting, arson, & criminal behaviour surrounding
has any of that made it easier ? GODS, no !
BUT it's made it all the more important, unquestionably!
And as I'll be facing a new year of life before the end of this week, this Reflection on The Bettering felt too important not to post
