For some reason - at least locally & a bit nationally from watching the news - people think laws & rules no longer apply :(
This could - and SHOULD - be THE perfect time for people to prove they're decent, good people, but the inverse appears to be the case...
ANYways - moving on from the obvious...
9 Weeks until rental & roadtrip *whew* - even with the insanity, time is flying !
Since the rental's already paid for, I am & do have every intent on using it & taking the time off
Of course, IF people don't straighten up & this continues that long, the intended Great Lakes-Ontario Roadtrip may have to change
( be kinda hard to travel to Canada for 2 weeks if I can't cross the border, neh? )
Then I'll just have to shift directions & figure out elsewhere to go...
my Roadtrips are random, that's the point - so shifting directions/locations is no biggie
Aye, it'd mean that I wouldn't be seeing as many places ( & it'd be a real bitch finding places to eat *sighs* )
BUT there are so many things to see out there that aren't closed & don't cost a dime :)
SO... I obviously hope people get their heads out of their asses, start listening to the rules & suggestions, & be f'n DECENT...
this way everyone can enjoy summer once it's here, myself included

(add'tl) sadly - from a convo w/ my complex mgr, I'm one of 3 in my building still working - and she's already had to give as many 'post-covid-19 eviction' notices :( ... I'm aware of one of them, who's been wandering around the hallways smoking w/ a "they can't evicted me" response >:(
4/1 II : I am saddened - though I shouldn't be so surprised - that this has brought out THE worst in people, including locally & in my apt complex *sighs* ... I would think this would be THE time to show & prove that we are & can be good & decent people, but the inverse seems the rule :(
4/2 : because I'd seen a couple postings about it today, for some demn fool reason ... no, N0bama was NOT Generation X, so was NOT the 1st Gen-X President ( thank gods, poor representation, to say the least! - Oi! ). Will we ever have a Gen-X President? *shrugs* I wonder, actually..
4/5 : mmm-kay - an "expert" is now talking about how to protect yourself & your family while shopping... and mentions bringing in your own bag - which stores, at least locally, is completely AGAINST so that you don't bring anything IN to the store >:( *wow*
