BUT it's been raining/freezing rain(ing) most of the day - like it is as I type this *sighs*
yeh... not as much fun - and not worth the sick-potential *deep sigh*
ANYways & nonetheless... here's some Last Saturday Of The Year Randomness aka LSOTYR !!
* this year has flown by - yet still has felt so long...!
it was only 8mths ago & this year, but feels like my O'H! : O'ahu, Hawai'i trip was years ago *sighs*
hells, my next vaca & roadtrip will be in June and it feels SO far away... :(
feels like I haven't done a demned thing - yet I know I have done things *laughs*
* I spent big chunks of my workday on the computer that I rarely go on(line) outside of work...!
yet my daughters think that all I do is go online *laughs* ( probably because I use my computer as a stereo & I'll let it play music fo rhours ? )
...weirdly people will get PO'd if I don't respond to online/computer things ( outside of work ) immediate or near-immediate
hells, I tend to check my e'mail only once-a-week, unless I know there's something I'm expecting or timely...
it used t'be once-a-month, so be happy I've gotten 'better' at it, mmm-kay ?
* what will people do when I'm my upcoming June roadtrip & I won't have access to text/calls/online for most of it...?
...and, yes, I'm serious - my smrtphone is pre-paid & only works in the US... I'll be in Ontario - that's Canada, fyi ;)
and, yes, when I'm near wi-fi I'll be able to access online via it & check landline, etc, but the smrtphone itself won't function for calls or texts
'sorry,' you'll just have t'deal with it ;) and, no, I'm not going t'get a temporary phone that'll work up there, so *meh*
* this wintertide has been weird - it started early with unholy-hells-level temps... then suddenly became... mild-ish
no, it's NOT warm by any means - it's painlevel cold, just not extremely so...
and it seems every time the heavy snow builds up... then it gets juuuust warm enough to melt it t'sludge
( honestly, I'd take temps above 45 and snow over below 45 & sludge/no snow... if I had to choose, that is )
* fathre is finally out of the hospital after ... 8 nights in a row ... ?
it was a bit worrisome for a bit - and, no, I haven't gone to visit... that's well over 100hrs of walking straight
but - as usual - there've been enough deaths this year of friends & relatives alike that my 'pattern' continues *shrugs*
death sucks - but not much that can be done about it... just glad my fathre wasn't amongst the list for this year
* people's presumptions/assumptions about me get weird sometimes...
particularly in following-up The Bettering - as if I'm depressed or [other somethin'-somethin' here], which I'm not
elsewise their assumptions in response have made it obvious they have/had opinions regarding my opinions - which I proved wrong...
or semi-wrong, in part - whatever *shrugs* ... the only way someone'll know for certain is to bloody ASK me! *laughs*
...and, yeh, that's about all I've got for this last posting of the year - disappointing, I know...
and not as 'random' as many of you probably expected *shrugs* - too bad, it's my posting ;)

12/28 : accidents galore across the Cities - and rain/freezing rain expected all day ... (hilariously?) this am, a neighbour throwing a party all left at ~3a - and all ended up in a crash at the intersection outside the complex, which were quickly moved ( I presume an arrest or two )...
