having written more than a poem per day of the year thus far ain't a bad consolation, is it ?
even if the poetic quality, I'm sure, is less than desirable *smirks*
( yes, I am my worst critic when it comes to my own writings... )
Wintertide is unquestionably here - even if there is roughly a month 'til it's officially winter, this IS the northern midwest *shivers/sighs*
BUT that's what I get for being this far south *laughs*
At any rate, it's only 6 months or so 'til Springtide, right ? ;)
Vacationally speaking, I've pulled the plug, so to speak, on the mid-April ponderance I'd been considering for several months now, and thus utilizing nigh-half of the vaca time I have to utilize before September :)
...pull the plug as in started it in motion *grins happily*
only booked the flight & to/from-home/airport shuttle thus far, but it's one helluva start, neh ? :D
I'm tentatively calling this biggest-vacation-to-be "O'H! Vaca" - as in O'ahu/Hawai'i *smiles*
cheezy, yeh, I know - but did I ever say otherwise ? *laughs*
quite excited, this'll be THE longest flight(s) I've ever taken - and the first flight with a layover
so much to explore & enjoy with warmer climes & a culture/sights I've yet seen with these eyes of mine
aye, I still need to check out & book a hotel as well as pre-plan an excursion or two
there's more than a few things I'd like to see - Pearl Harbor/Arizona, do a tour of the entire island, the Zoo/Aquarium, check out/walk Diamond Head & The Punchbowl...
I guarantee nothing, but pre-planning/plotting will get a few things set in stone ( it's been suggested, particularly with the aforementioned island tour )
otherwise I'll wander, explore, & enjoy the 7 hells out of it as much as capable !
ANY Recommends are VERY welcome - from locals or those who've visited before
but, for now, until my next posting - farethee well my Lovelies & Gentlefolk !

11/27 : it's always somethin' when people try to be all sneaky-like, chittering like mad, & muttering "do you think he'll notice?" under their breaths ... why, yes, of course I notice - I just don't care.
11/28 : dates are approved & set for next year's springtide foray to warmer climes & island culture as to yet unexplored & enjoyed by me - now comes the harder part of setting flights, hotel, & pre-planning any excursions where plotting aforehand is suggested... how long 'til mid-April?
(cont): flight is booked & shuttle set-up to get to/from home-to-airport/airport-to-home ... this will be THE longest flight(s) I've ever taken, not to mention this will be the first flight with a layover/flight switch ( they only had non-stop for the return trip available ) *excited*
11/30 : like the new delivery driver - 3rd time he's delivered since the prior usual fellow moved to a location closer to him... jovial & nice (& able to carry some of my heavier purchases *laughs*) - after me, they're actually cutting delivery for the rest of wknd due to expected snow!
