* I have lived in or within a mile of Minnesota my entire life - currently I live the farthest south I've ever lived ( obviously not that far )
* there are areas of/near the state that I only lived for months, if not weeks... when younger I had a bit of wanderlust that kept me moving often, when possible
* for every area I've lived in, I've "gained"/acquired new nicknames from people I met there - some of which effectively followed me ( the state's not that big! )
* there are areas where people still don't know my real name or just recently learned it ( usually while searching for me on facebook *laughs* )
* "Grr" is my most common/well known nickname - acquired it when I turned 15 and it's known in several areas of the state and even spread to each coast ! :D
* "Schmoo" ( short for "SchmooGod" ) is my next known nickname - it's even made it's way to the gulf coast! it's been expanded to "SchmooGod of the MidWest" a couple times *grins*
* I write under "t. Wolfox sR Rhose" which is short for the absurd yet enjoyable "thom Wolfox stRanger Rhose" ( yes, I prefer "thom" not capitalized - and, yes, it is part of my birthname )
* I am named after my fathre - something I despised when I was younger, as we didn't get along at all, and had intended to change ( all I ever did was legally drop the 'Jr.' part )
* I am fathre of two daughters - technically each are middle children, the first and last not surviving to childbirth ( all from the ex-wife )
* I have the title(s)/nicknames of AK/GOT (OOP) : "AussieKisses" and "God Of Tongue," though I consider myself Out Of Practice since it's been over a decade now ;) - and, yes, I did "earn" those titles :D
* I only started travelling/using my vacation time in 2011 - and've only travelled 6 of the years from '11 to '18... only recently have I acquired enough vaca time to take two a year ( as there's no way I could use 3+ weeks in a lump trip )
* my first Roadtrip vacation was in '16 - and I became instantly addicted, doing a Roadtrip each year since ( renting a vehicle )
* I haven't owned a vehicle since '99 - and didn't move to the Cities until '01 ... I do a LOT of walking - thankfully it's something I enjoy doing :)
* I was only married to the ex-wife roughly a year-and-a-half ... we seldom saw each other and rarer yet did things together ( we never actually went on a date - unless you count going to the same area and splitting up to different restaurants or theatres )
* I am a middle child ( I mentioned my older sister in the previous "Knowing Me" ) - I rarely speak of my younger sister and was never close to immediate family beyond my older sister
* I consider several friends to be my Family - and always will... I have several sisters that aren't blood and at least one brother ( I only assume they feel the same way ;) )
* my daughters and ex-wife are my True Family, sans question, and would go out of my way for them - yes, that includes the ex-wife ( we've become friends since the divorce )
* I've lived the longest where I am today than any part of/near Minnesota - I admit I probably would've continued my wanderlust years ago if it hadn't been for my spawnlings & the ex-wife ( yes, I call my daughters my spawnlings :D <3 )
* my current employer is the longest I've been with any one company - and I can honestly say I love my job and employers... they've been great to me, from the get-go ( they went out of their way the month the ex-wife left me and the shortly thereafter attack-and-robbery )
* the school I started in shut down the year I moved during HS - I had already planned to move before the word got out the school was closing ! I went from a school of 100+ in K-12 to a class of 100+ ( a huge leap, though I now know it's still pretty small ! )
* though I've lived my rivers and lakes my entire life, I've never learned to swim
* despite my inability to swim, I've got an attraction to water... I suppose that makes it a dangerous one !
* I used to have several fears & similar issues that I 'got over' in... 'unusual'... ways : got over my fear of heights by falling off a water tower and climbing back up for the beer, got over my fear of fire by being in a treehouse that caught fire and had to go through the fire to get out, [etc]
* I used to have a (mild?) bit of OCD where I had to repeat things several times over or do things/set things in a particular fashion - forced myself to stop as it attracted undue attention to my already seemingly-unusual self... sometimes I still get... edges... of it reappear
* I'm ( in rough quarters) Polish, French Canadian, Irish, & German - though I claim to be half-sasquatch on my mothre's side ( she never did counter the claims... and, yes, I did say it to her and around her! )... so I tell my spawnlings they're quarter-sasquatch ( they do have the fuzziness to prove it! )
* I know very little beyond that of my bloodline(s) - only recently did my fathre start talking about his parents/grandparents ( though only twice in the past 5yrs ) and my mothre never did speak of hers ( other than her fathre who died days before I was born )
* It's possible, on the French Canadian side, that there may be some Metis blood ( based on a relative who was trying to research some genealogy and reached a snag )... both sides of the family have cases of mental issues/instability ( possibly why nothing was talked of the family/bloodline(s) )
* I have written poetica as far back as I can remember - it keeps me sane ;) ...only since '91, when my mothre found out I wrote, did I promise to keep the poetica - I used to burn them in a yearly "ritual" close to my b'day... I've found a rare few that survived my yearly purge - a couple partial
* I've been working since I was 15 - only having not worked for one year since... just after my eldest was born and the soon-to-be-then-wife was making more than I was ( plus it took me a couple hours to get to work and home thereafter - and I worked about 10hrs a shift - so was driving her "crazier" )
* I attempted college twice, but neither time made it through a semester - first attempt right out of HS due to having too much fun drinking/partying, second time years later I burnt out working 60+hrs and taking a full class-load ( one of my non-blood sisters literally saved me from total shutdown that time )
* I'm an avid horreur fan - but my favourite film is Casablanca ( people assume it's a horreur film after they see my film collection - which is quite veried, but the horreur stands out :) )
* I am not "allowed" to have a chainsaw - this was a unanimous decision by most friends *sighs* - I suppose I shouldn't giggle crazily when I see commercials for chainsaws :( ...my bad ?
* I pick up accents easily, having a tendency to speak with the accent of those talking to me without realizing it ( if it's not a local "accent," that is ) - I also segue into accents when nervous, confronted, or energized... which co-workers, for example, find funny and like to point out when it happens
* I've met people that're all over the world... still don't understand what brought 'em all to this demn state, it's not exactly exciting here !
