hopefully this is a good sign that whatever hit me is running its course... though I admit the humour aspect :)
could've been from either whatever has been making its rounds around work - or from my daughters' being sick last weekend *shrugs* ...or combination thereof
at least it wasn't 'v'-style sickness nor wore me down enough that I couldn't work or do stuff outside of work
( not that I've done a demn thing this weekend, I admit *laughs* - taking advantage, I suppose ;) )
Nothing all too exciting going on in my world... which is the "usual," I suppose - I live a pretty boring life, believe it or not :)
when I'm not at work and don't have my daughters it's just random bits of reading, watching flicks or online TV, listening to CDs, & maybe walking if I get in the mood/have a 'goal' of some sort *smirks*
so... yeh. pretty boring :)
so few people I know live anywhere near me, let alone within 100miles - most are much farther, some even in other countries :)
( yet somehow I met most of them in MN or within a mile of MN - how in the 7 hells did this state become visitation central down the years ?!? )
so, yeh, when I DO do things, it's 99.99% just me doing it alone - but I've always been that way... to the chagrin of past roommates who never understood ( or, apparently, were even capable of doing things on their own/alone )
no, it doesn't bother me - nor does it having been officially single for almost a decade now ( divorce official 10yrs in October )
...over 10yrs since even a kiss, let alone anything further *laughs*
BUT, those who know me know that's not unusual for me - of the 4 relationships I had had in my lifetime ( only 1 of which lasted longer than 40days ), there were many years between most of them :)
and, no... sadly or otherwise... I have no expectation of a relationship occurring anytime in the near future...
it's not like I get out and meet people - rarer yet do people approach me that don't know me - and as for the websites and apps people have put me on, only twice were there responses... both times were ads/scams *shrugs*
I never did say I was dateable, did I ? ...though I find it funny that 3 of the 4 ex's tend to be surprised that I'm not "with someone," gods know why *shrugs*
ANYways...

8/1 : because someone asked : yes, it did take me awhile to learn how to smile without showing teeth as it wasn't something I was used to doing but with how people ( strangers and thankfully only a couple friends ) reacted to the damage when I did I had to... I still do by accident :(
8/2 : twice today when asked for advice/help on something I responded with "it's the eye of the tiger, it's the thrill of the fight, rising up to the challenge of your rival" - probably not the answers they were seeking, but couldn't get it out of my head :D
8/4 : yes, I did sleep in this morning... but I also didn't crash 'til the power went out last night from (another) storm - though it did kick back in my 'round midnight ( made resetting the clocks easier, I suppose ;) )
8/7 : spawnlings had some fun at the complex's Nat'l Night Out - a lot quieter/less people than last year, put name/apartment in for drawings on Fri ... decent day for it, glad girls could drop by and enjoy :)
8/9 : "just because someone points and aims a gun doesn't mean an officer has to raise theirs and shoot [them]" - uhmmm... what part of Protect and Serve citizens & the law do you not understand - they shouldn't have to wait until they're SHOT to act for public safety *yeesh* >:(
8/9 II : well, SOMEone who works for FedEx knows me - and by a nickname I don't hear often in the Cities... 'course, all I caught was a drive-by waving hand and a shout of "Hey, Grr!" as they drove down the street ( I had almost reached the sidewalk post-work )
8/11 : IF I intend on going anywhere today, it'll need to be somewhere that there's no people to talk to - not that I'm anti-person today but that I am (still) unable to speak more than a whisper and even THAT takes effort and is painful *sighs*
8/12 : "love" how majority of political ads on tv this am instead of stating what their platform/intent is are almost solely anti-trump and/or pro-obama ads //sarcasm// - you really expect me to vote for you when all you intend to do is what trump doesn't and obama did ? *dumbasses*
8/12 II : ...thankfully only had one political dumbass knock on my door in the past few weeks - whom I immediately reminded this is a No Solicitation building yet she continued rambling anti-trump ranting without pause or allowing a word in edgewise as I escorted her out of the building
