long and busy days, but not so exhausted I can't keep a smile on, y'know ?
put in some random dates for vaca, just waitin' t'be approved - don't know if I'll actually do anything, or if I'll be able to afford to, but uses up the vaca time, y'know ?
( tentative dates Apr 17-25 & Jun 29-Jul 6 ... no plans, just tryin' t'get 'em on the calendar )
still considering a southbound t'start roadtrip for the April dates - at least renting a car is cheaper than most other options...
and I wouldn't have t'worry 'bout being stuck in a particular city or area, I could wander whichever way I please for a few days or so :D
ANYways, that's all random ol' me has got for this particular eve... should probably crash before I full-tilt pass out on the PC
good thing the couch is just a few feet away and quite comfy - though I will have t'go a bit further t'kill the lights :(

1/15 II : open response to ye who tried to tell me "[DACA recipients] are citizens, too!" No, they're not - DACA wasn't and never was a pathway to citizenship, it is nothing more than deportation deference and wasn't meant to be permanent, either ( it's easily searchable and readable )
1/16 : AGAIN this morning they played a commercial for "safety bags" to keep kids from eating tide pods - almost thought I'd imagined that shit... what in the 7 HELLS is wrong with people ?!? in my youth: anti-drug commercials, today's youth: don't eat detergent commercials ?!?

1/20 : no, it's NOT an exaggeration that the gov'mt shutdown is entirely due to not supporting illegal immigrant protection - despite the maze of pointed fingers, fault falls upon this and only this : focusing on illegals vs the legal citizens of the nation - happy anniversary P. Trump
1/21 : already hearing of so many military friends finding themselves or those they know & work with furloughed - so wonderful to see those standing for our nation pushed aside because particular parties want focus on illegals and protecting their "rights" as opposed to the citizens...
1/22 : of all the days to be suddenly craving fast food ... nope, unquestionably NOT worth the (normally) 20min or so walk in this weather - if I was lucky I'd be home in a few hours, covered with snow, and not lost, I'll pass...
1/23 : when an AM meteorologist says "expecting 1-3" but up to 10" if the storm shifts, prepare for rough roads" it does NOT mean you should blame, let alone consider suing, said meteorologist when the worst case scenarios occur - it's not as if there's a weather-box control unit...
1/23 II : no sidewalks this AM, surprised //sarcasm// - at least traffic was low and no a-hole honkers, though a few drove just a wee bit too close... I live a block from work, how do people seriously think I would get in otherwise ?
1/26 : I'm not saying it's bad - 40° mid-wintertide isn't 'bad' comparably - but it IS barely above freezing and still knee-deep in pain weather, so I wouldn't say it's anywhere close to 'nice' by any means, just... cold, though not as cold as it had been
