Drinkin' sweet tea & eatin' ketchup flavour Pringles as I write/type this... and I'm fine with that :)

for a short week, s'been a busy one where - oddly enough - s'been hard t'keep my mind distracted despite it
the long last weekend with the girls was great, as was takin' 'em to the MOA the weekend earlier as a b'day gift for my eldest daughter... and t'give the ex a bit of a break from her home issues
'course, in usual fashion for my life, there's been death of friends and other friends in hospitals - not unusual, just annoying

then there's the realization that come nigh the end of this month s'been 10yrs I've officially worked for the company
which also means that in just a month or so was a decade since the last time I kissed anyone ( let alone further )... aye, how things connect in such odd fashion, neh?
a decade already... (wow) - aye, she didn't leave for months and we weren't divorced until nigh a year later, but still...
again, it's usual fashion for my life - after all I've only been in 4 relationships in my life and only one lasted longer than 40days ( the aforementioned ex-wife )
so I'm not due to be on another date until well into my hundreds, mathematically - or 50s if I half it
*smirks* not that I expect to ever meet anyone but ANYways...

since I've been less than acceptably distracted, my mind's gone in nigh every direction possible :(
thankfully (??) it's often segued into tunes playin' in my head ( hence videos to follow of some o'the tunes )

dreamwise s'been pretty mental - again, in usual fashion - combination of memoria and the utterly weird
which, honestly, I don't mind a'tall... just been more often than s'been for awhile is all

doesn't help that this week was quite cool, as we're entering into that cold-pushed pain-season again *sighs*
haven't reached the pain threshold yet, but no question we're on the way
my entire life I've endured this, made moreso worse by the headdamage incurred back in '96...
living my entire life in an area where the temp is at pain level for just short of half the bloody year :(
who knows, maybe someday I'll get out of it, but it won't likely be the near future

8/25 : *eep* just saw a bevy of posts from multiple sites of people bitching they "whitewashed" Black Bolt in the upcoming Inhumans - uhm, WHAT?!?
8/26 : tres tired, so reading while texting tomorrow's battle plans w/ the ex-wife as a treat for my eldest's b'day days ago :)
8/27 : an enjoyable afternoon at MOA w/ the recent b'day girl and her sis, they wore themselves out wonderfully on the rides & Hard Rock lunch :)
8/30 : no, I'm not an easy person to reach - even worse mid-day M-F, obviously - and, no, I won't give you my e-cel #, it's not on at work anyways
9/1 : "you can't blame an organization for the actions of its leadership or membership" ?!? uhm, you do know that's what an organization IS, yes?
9/2 : tomorrow SuicideGirls, Sweet 16 and never been... er, well, this IS SuicideGirls we're talking about ;)
9/8 : same delivery driver for several weeks now - great guy, fun stories of what he's been doing lately or years past ( incl. stationed in Guam)
