because of the pain - which hasn't stayed the same kind of pain day-to-day - I haven't been online as much as usual, maybe not a bad thing with all the political-stew (spew?) ongoing on fb and the like... *shrugs*
today the pain's not too bad, just the normal pain ( unlike this week's random can-barely-move-spine-pain and fuck-not-again-tooth-pain, etc etc )

had a fun afterwork day yesterday for a few hours, the ex dropped off the girls for the apt complex's Nat'l Night Out
they absolutely loved the bounce house - and got free food and snacks and a couple toys
'course, my li'l beasties have absolutely NO filter so will say virtually ANYthing in public without a care *smirks* - makes for interesting convos when they're near :)
met a couple new neighbours, too - including a li'l lovely who's a hairdresser and bartender at a bar a couple blocks down
guess I've got a reason to hit that bar again, other than just their food and drink, neh ? *laughs*
from her talking, I assume she lives with someone, though, so don't go getting your hopes up for this ol' man *grins* ( it's not like I'd make a move anyways )
'course a week from yesterday my eldest will be turning 12 already *whew* - time has flown by, indeed !
aye, it's been a decade since I last kissed a female, let alone anything else, and by early next year it'll be a decade since the ex left and by late next year a decade since the divorce was finalized, etc etc
hells - next month I'll have been working for the company for a decade as well, too... demn, indeed !

one co-worker this week was "oh, so you're the damage case?" to which I was "wait, what?" "haven't you been in all these accidents and scarred and all that?" - had to laugh "oh, yeah, that would be me" "cool to meet ya" and back to work they went
