don't have too much to post about, I admit - but we'll see where my mind takes us...

things've been busy at work, been off-and-on sickish - but not so bad that it's kept me from pushing through work-wise, etc

s'been too cold t'get out and do anything outside of the home or work, which is drivin' me a li'l bit mental - but that's not unusual for the wintertide season *sighs*

my sleep 'schedule' has gotten outta whack a few times - the worst of it Thurs night/Fri morning when, for some demn fool reason, I awoke by 2a with my mind shifting completely into overdrive and 'switching channels,' so it's not as if I could focus on something to clear it :(
slept 'normal' Fri & Sat nights, though - well, 'normal' for me, waking up very few hours and getting maybe 5-6hrs of actual sleep

healthwise the increased pain and physical weirdness hasn't let up since the year began BUT I've gotten relatively used to it already
since I don't go to doctors ( who can afford that shit?!? ), I'm assuming it's just from gettin older

on a dealing-with-people level, I swear I'm becoming this 'embittered old man' *laughs*
on fb and among strangers and friends-of-friends the world's become extremes and politically inane, to say the least
I've blocked so many friends-of-friends and politically- or religiously- annoying individuals on fb that it's insane
all they want to do is point out how their version of poly-history is "truth," no matter how many facts disprove it or lack of evidence in any direction supports it
( or should I say poli-history, since their focus is primarily on their brand of politics )
essentially - most people that I don't engage with personally/regularly are plain-old annoying to talk to, let alone even being near...
all I want to do is scream at them to just shut the fuck up and deal with it, DO something rather than just bitch about every f'n thing

seriously - I thank the gods that not only am I colourblind, but appear on both sides of the fence depending on the subject - or on the fence itself if it doesn't directly involve me
yeh, I'm a law and PD support individual that's unquestionably anti-criminal - but I've always been that way and nothing is likely to skew me away from that mentality :)
which - of course - pisses off the anti-PD crowd who apparently believe that most laws are pointless and they can only change it via criminal activity/activism

1/31 : never liked the "1-10" pain scale - it doesn't take into account pain tolerance, comparability to constant pain, nor gotten used to pain...
2/1 : you really want me to join a protest I don't believe in/agree with ? sure - but I expect a paycheck, to be fed, & a sign saying "I'm not with these people"
2/2 : so it seems not recognizing 'decades old' slang & questioning it makes one a target & an "unintelligent troll" - sorry, but don't need that
2/2 II : weirdly kinda nice knowing the ex wants to know if I'm feeling better and if I happen to need anything... friendship out of chaos = good
2/3 : personal experience has proven to me that the least trustable people are those who primarily wear white ( yet I'd love a white/red suit )
2/5 : *laughs* teaching my daughter how to adjust her new bra so that it fits... a fathre's duty is never done ;)
2/7 : after a weekend and a day's reprieve, whatever tried to kick my ass last week seems to have decided to try for a second round... g'night!
2/10 : surprised I'm still awake & aware - mind went into overdrive around 2a & kept switching channels... been up since - may hit me yet, though
