Final Big Post Before The Alice Weekend!!
Well, friends, strangers, and assorted other ne'er-do-wells (or ever-do-wells, as the case may be),
it's the final stretch for my Alice Weekend.
hotel is verified/confirmed, for late arrival tomorrow
rental car is verified/confirmed, will call them for pick up after work tomorrow
tickets for the show will be at will call at the venue for Tsunday
maybe I'll even shave tonight - at the very least I'll bring the shaver with
so by this time tomorrow I should be getting my rental car, after which I'll throw the lot into the machine and off I go... into traffic...
*smirks* ok, so the timing isn't perfect traffic-wise, but hey - shiite happens, neh?
it'll probably throw a good hour onto the travel time or so. I think I'll live
the only thing I have left to do is pack ... which is my plan for the evening.
gather all and everything I need for the trip - at least this way should I forget something there's still a good rough 24hrs to remind me of what I may have forgotten before I leave, neh?
I figure a sleeveless-T should be good for an outdoor concert in August surrounded by peoples of varying calibre *grins* ...
I'll even bring my umbrella, just in case - maybe pick up some bug spray?? *ponders* I can do that en route or once I'm in F/M.
at least it's basically a straight shot there taking the "I" ...
I've even got phone #s of various peoples that I was able to semi-somewhat get ahold of t'let know I'll be in their area for the weekend.
no, no celphone, nor computer, with me - so I'll be "techfree" and even if someone wanted to, they couldn't reach me that way.
so sorry t'disappoint! you'll just have t'call the hotel and ask for me
