Illogical Ponderations

Weirdly, I've been feelin' lately - well - lonely, I suppose, would be the closest to describe it. It's strange.
Seriously, it makes no sense, really.
5 days out of the week I see multiple co-workers. 4 days out of the month I see my daughters and ex-wife.
At least once a month I talk to a friend on the phone (admittedly it used to be more, but two of the people that I talked semi-irregularly to a month have died in the past year *shrugs*).
Thus, there is no lack of people, so the feelin', really, makes no sense whatsoever.
Hells, I talk to random people all the time when I'm out walking and/or shopping - though, admittedly, lengthy conversations come to an immediate halt the moment I accidentally smile or laugh and my teeth are seen - instant conversation stopper, trust me.
I've even been making a point out of getting out of the apartment at least twice a week... mostly due to my weight-gain to see if it's possible to quell it (a gut on a skinny body = "dying ethopian" look, not attractive), but nonetheless.

Oh well. Maybe (my last) CONvergence in a couple weeks or even the roadtrip weekend to see Alice Cooper in August will help?
Honestly, I simply don't get it. Logically, it makes absolutely no sense. I've always spent the majority of my time - hells, most of the past couple decades - doing things alone and being by myself.
So why does it suddenly bother me now?
On a side note :
I'm seriously considering making a "generic name badge"-style shirt that says "Will Work For : Powertools" (with the "Powertools" looking like the signature on the name badge) - yes, seriously. *grins*
what do the lot of ya think? Good idea? Bad? Even an "I could see you doing that" is perfectly acceptable. *smiles*
Now I've just got to draw it out and see if I can make it look good.
Of course, would I want it to be a full-T size image or just a "pocket" image so it looks more "name badge" styled?!
