Words Of Wisdom : sometimes the line between the gifted and the insane is perforated...

I grew up in the age of the unsupervised childhood.
something I doubt would even occur to most people nowadays, kids leaving at sun-up and returning at sun-down without a whit of an idea where they'd been all day or what they did while gone.
as long as homework and/or...

'Tis the season when everyone is either a xtian or a heathen... well, if you watch/read the news or facebook or other social medias or believe what people are saying thus far the past month.

ANYways...

there's been a resurgance of xtianity being shoved my direction once again - largely in part to it being "that season" combined with there being two deaths of...

I doubt anyone will get pissed off. I may not strongly agree with every single thing you wrote, but I agree with most. The ones I'm reluctant to agree with are the ones I still hold onto because it's easier that way. I am such a coward when it comes to some things...

for the first time since moving to my current locale, I'll be paying late on bills - the medical issue that I couldn't afford but unfortunately couldn't avoid left me a couple hundred behind

*sighs*
just hoping this doesn't fuck things up... I normally pay everything on time - if not early - and I take pride in the fact I get by and still...

*shivers* frosty mornin', all... just a wee bit on the very cold side this AM, so hope everyone is somewhere warm and/or toasty :)

and onto the rant...

every culture throughout history has had a constantly/consistantly changing definition of holiday traditions
which is why when I see someone mention "traditional" xmas, I can't help but smirk and/or mock them severely...
even moreso when someone mentions...

I admit, I completely forgot about posting on Friday, but I also admit I really had nothing to write about...

been healing, slowly but surely... less painful and less swollen so... yay?

otherwise things are their normal askew and abnormal, with strange occurances and weird notions and happenstance
and watchin' a lot of DVDs, due to combination of it being too demn cold outside, temporary...

this... dose... of my artwork is a little more... sensitive... than the usual, so I wouldn't be surprised if many do not like it (though if you do, great!)

after uncountables times of beginning, changing, scrapping, starting again, and repeat she finally appears how I imagined her (or close enough that I like it)...

and I think I may actually stick with the darker digital...

found out yesterday that my fathre has a fractured scapula after an accident that he doesn't remember having happened!

luckily (and surprisingly?!) no head trauma, but he now has to take it easy for awhile... which isn't easy, knowing how we are! *whew*

and here I thought I was the only accident-prone member of the family...

and speaking of *Oi!*

yesterday I was fine sitting...

Shame man, that must be so ridiculously uncomfortable. Hope you don't need to visit a surgeon and get to keep you cash, as well as get rid of the vile issue.

I never said I was a highly intelligent person - I'm average, if not below average... BUT I'm below average across the board, so I think that compensates for those who are exceptional at only one thing :)

my skills and knowledge are based primarily upon experience coupled with well-researched truth and, yes, when I respond to people I tend to do so with regards...

The 13 Days Of Hallowe'en (2013) conclude as we arrive at our station, that day of days, Hallowe'en itself!

and what better way to celebrate That Time Of The Month than with films taking place ON this day?

Idle Hands takes the horror with a dose of humour in equal fashion.
poor "Bubba" in Dark Night Of The Scarecrow gets his revenge on the twisted...

I would love to travel more, even if it's just around South Africa. The worst thing is that it's not even a money issue, just no time. I've got so little free time, and I'm saving my leave for a trip to Croatia next year, so it's nearly impossible.
Love the costume and the movie suggestions! :)

bit of a haircut tonight, to be followed by letting my geekier side out to play tomorrow -this should be interesting!

The 13 Days Of Hallowe'en (2013) are almost over!

Only 1 day to Hallowe'en - but it'll be back next year... well, at least I'll try ;)
we live in this huge, amazing world - yet we know so little about it. every month, if not every day, new species are being discovered.
but, if horror has taught us anything it's that not everything on...

when your in-house tech guy "hates computers" (yet owns every device imaginable) and got his "IT"/CS degree from a seminary school, is it any surprise that when something goes wrong his first response is to get pissed off and point fingers?

wolfox:
he actually apologized for how he acted that day... though blamed it on meds he it's against his beliefs to take *ponders*
