thankfully whatever decided to 'tag' me yesterday is completely housed in the sinuses - with more-than-occasional coughing fits/sore throat from the *gags* 'rundown,' annoying pressure, & a couple of blow-the-nose-break-the-dam nosebleeds today *sighs* ... still could be worse !
thought I was finally over this come-and-go cold, but then middle of the night severely sore throat... fine, whatever - wake up this mornin', get up, then suddenly stuffed nose AND heavy nose bleed, wth ?!? ...it's stopped now, but "great" start to the day //sarcasm//
well, a neighbour is either having a REALLY good late afternoon - or is just watching their pr0n a little louder than they should for an apartment building... either way, kudos to them, I suppose, for - urhm... - enjoying their holidays in a festive manner ? ;) :D
*sighs* another day of "oh, look, it's fuckthisitstoofrackincoldoutside" weather - how long 'til temps are highs of 50+ again and long, cold weekends don't make me feel like going on a homicidal rampage wanting to sacrifice the neighbours to the gods of heat & cheap fast food ?!

@maleh I realized I was off by 5yrs ( he would've still been in HS then, which he wasn't )... life is full of good & bad & I've had more than my fair share of death - but Jim ( the one who passed ) was more than a friend to so, so very many, as this weekend definitely showed
I travel for a funeral & friends, including doing several post-funeral bar toasts... & end up leaving w/ a spendy leather jacket a friend unseen in 25yrs literally gave off his back - love-hate, certainly, surprised unquestionably, & his wife & daughter both affirm it's seriously mine now *sighs* - the hell have *I* done to deserve ?!

his wife I consider like a sister, I was always protective of her, my little D ... but she's got herself a great guy who's been protecting her at least for 14 of the years now since I moved - old friendships never die, I suppose, and I'm demn glad they've got each other now ( and his daughter is a tough little sweetheart, too )
