a morning of a few disappointments, but a largely successful one by day's end nonetheless/despite ... a minor one being no sidewalk this am - which was even WORSE/filled heading home ( guess where they pushed the remaining road snow? ) - at least most drivers pulled over...
I now have 3 new pairs of shorts & 3 new hats ( with 4th en route ) for my O'ahu/Hawai'i trip (less than 6 wks!) ... was told to pack light but would need shorts, hats, & 100spf sunscreen - it's rare I wear shorts or hats, so the islands are in for... a treat? a shock?

...and, yes, I AM very much a jeans in the EVERYtime, including summer, guy ( no one wants to see my legs! ) - but was told that's a VERY bad idea for O'ahu/Hawai'i ! ...and my fedora is too easy to blow away in any kind of wind, so it's staying home for this trip :)
*yeesh* the city's pre-inspection review is that my apt "needs to be better organized" - for the 'true' inspections this coming week - wth ?

this wintertide is feeling unending, as we're hit with another massive snowfall - at least 6 inches during the day today with another storm coming in the next day/day-and-a-half ... we've hit a record for the month *sighs* ... at least it'll only be a couple months 'til I'm O'ahu/Hawai'i bound & warmer weather, whatever this wintertide continues to bring !

historically the VERY few v-days that I spent with anyone ( which is absurdly rare ) have been hellish in either absurd fashion or painful ones... including combinations thereof... at least the ex-wife & I never actually did anything together, let alone celebrate v-day *whew*
