sad amusement when they have a Krispy Kreme commercial, then talk about Krispy Kreme during the news... but the closest Krispy Kreme is all the way in bloody Iowa :( *snifs*
had an awkward but, in the end, successful online conversation regarding a delivery I didn't receive ... had to answer weird questions, including why I didn't check my backdoor ( easy answer: "3rd floor apartment, only once entrance beyond main security entry" ) *shrugs/smirks*
awww... I 'ruined' a surprise dinner with my girls & the ex - as I had already scheduled grocery delivery for the eve, which was too far in to cancel/reschedule :( ...they were arguing earlier over what restaurants I like, which makes it sadder that I'm unable to go tonight :(
2 weeks ago, Weds the 13th, I flew to ND to see my fathre, the 'Elder Tom,' who had been released from ICU w/ nothing more the doctors could do for him.
Had great convos with him, listening & feeling intently, for a couple/few days until he passed - seemingly comfortable & without pain - on Sun the 17th.
