Eh bien, I finally started biking to work. I like biking in the fall/winter. The ritual of suiting up, wearing just the right amount of gear so you don't arrive at work in a stinking sweat. It is only 4K, so it is not much of a work out. Any excuse not to drive--gas jumped 7 a litre last week.
Tried out some core strength excercises today...
I am outta shape.
My pasta is ready...

One thing about us runners is we DON'T train smart. But maybe I'll give it a tri.
Continual muscle soreness is a sign that you are training just the right amount....right?
Thanks

You can send me the workout anytime...I have shit loads of them lying around already from mags and online. Most likely I will just use a modified version of the 36-week training I have in Triathlete mag. I usually try to keep it simple, build up the mileage, take an EZ week every 4 weeks, Throw in a brick every 2 weeks with a build up, I stay away from overly complicated training schedules so no speed-work etc. I go fast when I feel good and slow when I don't. Just get the mileage in.
There is a guy on a fitness board that always ends his post with "train hard or go home" I wish I had thought of this as it is I refuse to steal it. I still think it is cool... look at the fitness geek.
Sorry so long winded and detailed
