This happens to me every now and then, and I really hate it. The following day usually feels like I'm hungover, but unfortunately without the benefit of being drunk the night before. :/ But there's a thing that helps me falling asleep when my brain starts going into overdrive at night: I once saw an episode of The Mentalist with Simon Baker -a show I really, really like- where he gives advice to a terminally ill man who suffers from Insomnia. He tells him to close his eyes and count his breaths, namely with "one" for breathing in and "two" for breathing out, repeating this until he falls asleep. And please don't laugh, but it works perfectly for me. :)

I deal with depression and anger on a daily basis with my daughter who is 16. She was diagnosed last year with a blood disorder that cause her body to swell uncontrollably. She is missing a genetic factor. Almost lost her twice. She cannot be in sunlight, extreme heat, get extremely stressed out. Had to have a port put in b/c her veins are gone in her arms from so many sticks. Horrible way for a 16 year old to live! She has every right to be angry and depressed in my book! Some days she is ok and other days she just does not want to be here anymore. Everyone is this big wide world has depression, some people can't get out of it like others and needs help. Nothing wrong with that!
