Back in April, my dog Ferris had surgery to repair a torn ACL in her left knee.
She's at a point in her recovery where we walk her two miles a day, which means that my wife and I are getting great exercise, and my dogs are rarely bored.
We just got back from this morning's walk (ah, the joys of being self-employed and working out of the house are legion) and both of my dogs are sound asleep on their backs. Ferris is in this little doggie cot we got her last year, and Riley Monster is in her crate.
They are both snoring, and Ferris just started kicking her legs in that "I'm chasing the cat" dream that all dogs seem to have.
I really love my dogs. I guess that's what this is about.

Sounds like you're crate training. That's the best way to house train your dogs. We did it with our last dog, Kimba, and it worked like a charm.
PS,
Haven't tried the wine yet.
