Black and white or colour?

I've never agreed with the idea that a photo that isn't artistic as a colour photo suddenly becomes so when you make it black and white but there are some photos where the colour adds nothing extra and making them black and white allows us to focus on what makes them beautiful. These are examples of the second - good photos in colour that become even better in black and white.
