The only reason I hate the flu shot (other than the fact that I'm really too hot on needles myself) is that it always gives me a cold. I went without it one season and didn't get sick. Amazing.

Wow a Coastie, that would be really cool. (Something I probably should have done myself...) Too bad military life and I don't really get along. "I coulda been a contender". I'd Imagine that the US Military is in dire need of "a few good women". 
You probably can in fact join (some people are able to join the military to serve the US even though they are from other countries, one of the bonuses is of course citizenship, but getting married to Pete will take care of that anyways... Come to think of it, maybe it's my brother who should become a Canadian instead. Oh well, I hope all is well. Yikes , it's almost December, I'd better get my plane tickets soon.

We didn't dress up for Halloween. We went over to Kim's house and handed out candy there, and ate a fabulous dinner that she cooked. Yum!
I've been so busy lately just working on covering the deck I've really neglected my friends. But I do want you to know you're always in my thoughts, and I will be trying soon to get back here more regularly.
By the way, my idea of winter training would be being inside huddled under a blanket snuggled up with Karen.
I love you sweetie.
