I steal music I hear on tv shows bwhahahaha

xheartswornx:
Well, we still need to talk on the documentary note, too, for sure. As for being a loner, I know full well what you mean... granted, I may get out now and again and may do some things, but it never seems I do any of it for me. I always end up being the entertainer of those around me and well... that's how it goes. Although I don't mind the entertaining because at least half the time I leave a spark of inspiration in the other party to do something a little creative on their own. smile

omg MCR and Blink? Double girlgasm!! hahah biggrin I love MCR but not in the serious way I adore Blink 182. That being said, MCR opening would NOT have hurt my feelings if I was going to see Blink!
mercie:
Also who says you have to listen to the opener? Go late or tailgate for awhile tongue

PS - I LOVE eternal sunshine. like, in the top 5 favorite movies of all time love. That being said, I normally only watch it when I'm incredibly depressed and somehow THAT comforts me. But not when I'm in a good or normal mood. It'll make me think about... stuff. SO yeah while I love that song, I can't really listen to it outside the context of the movie. that's just me though, i'm sure.

I can honestly say I'm excited for the new shows Grimm

and once upon a time.

Though I feel like once upon a time is ripping off fables.....
which they were supposedly making a show based on that. Looks like abc decided to just steal the material. Heres to hoping that at least one of those...

Yeah, I was just thinking the same when I heard the ee cummings line!
xheartswornx:
So I started reading the "friend excuse" postings and this is why I kinda quit posting in groups. You say one thing and everyone wants to make it somehow negative or as if you say something you're not quite saying. The point is as simple as "friends make great lovers because... well, they get along" but everyone seems to be taking it the wrong direction like "every friend should be your lover because friends are the only lover". What's the deal with people? This is why it will never make sense because people WANT things to be creepy and take things the wrong way rather than letting it be as simple as "something nice can be something more". Simple, right? Makes sense. Doesn't mean everything nice can be something more... you know that, I know that, but I don't know why people can't think in simple terms.
I just thought I'd share that as I continued to read, understand your view, then try to figure out what contortions people put into your words. Not everything is as creepy or desperate as people want it to be. Sigh.

Anyway, back to some music and keeping invisible from forums and sets. I've pretty much given up on both because people just don't care anymore. I miss the days when I posted and people actually understood and discussed things rather than ignored or turned shit around as if no matter what I said I was somehow the one in the wrong. Seriously.

In my opinion, and from my brief experience chasing that field, I very much believe that research within psychology or sociology is best suited for that kind of yearning / drive. However, you'd have to have a strong foundation of the stuff that it sounds like is boring you, so it would be a matter of whether you could get through that, or felt it was worth it. But being in research means finding legitimate answers to those things you want to know -- answers that aren't there, or improving on answers that are outdated in a changing world. You aren't the only person who wants and needs to know these things -- there's a need for the finder of them.

I finally got the opportunity to watch Hesher,
All I can say is wow. It's quite fucked up and not conventional at all.
It was really great though and I would recommend it to anyone.
