Today I am suffering from a severe lack of motivation. Yup... I hate it when that happens. I was just about to go mountain biking so I thought I'd check the local radars and it seems we have thunderstorms on the way. Getting caught in the mountains on a bicycle during a thunderstorm sucks so I didn't go. Therefore, I am here telling anyone who...

I'll burn you a CD of the stuff I'm working on. I'll have it on Sunday. Hell I might even play it in my set!

I think I'm just going out for the week this year. Initially we were planning on going out a week or two early, but when I started to research flights and stuff, it became apparent that that would be waaaay too expensive. We're flying into Reno, renting a car and buying our supplies and stuff there. Man, I reeeeeally need it this year. I didn't even realize how much I needed it last year. It truly was instrumental for changing the course of my life. Thank again, dude. I'd never woulda done it without you. kiss

So this is an update... Umm, yeah, I'm a little tipsy so you'll have to forgive me. Let's see... Oh yeah, so I finished that song I was talking about in my last entry. It turned out quite cool. Well, at least, I like it. I didn't take anyone's advice and just powered through it. So now I'm on a roll. Or is it a...

Yeah, but you still have so much hair, and you look like you're 24. smile

I think that we over thirty SGPDXers should have a "get offa my lawn, ya damn kids!" party one of these days.
lalindaloca:
Dude! This sounds awesome:

Flame Dance is an interactive flame effect display where people can interact with nine fireball/smoke ring cannons by dancing on two segmented dance areas. By simultaneously stepping on the same segment on both dance pads one of the cannons will fire.

Oh, and your buddy will be back:

Mantis: This project is a 12 foot tall, articulated, backpack mounted Land Puppet-- otherwise classified as mobile art or a walking interactive sculpture. This 2006 project follows on the heels of our highly successful Miniman Project of 2005. Mantis is worn by a single operator using motion transfer from the arms and legs to manipulate her in realistic, animated motions. The effect is most striking at night, with significant el-wire illumination.

I have a new song in the works. It's funny though, today I was working on it and it occured to me that maybe I should stop. Maybe, just maybe it's finished. At least the musical parts anyway. That's the problem with creating making music alone. You just never know when to let a song be. You'll always keep picking it apart. I just need...

I wasn't trying to sleep. I slept earlier because I knew this party was happening and that I wouldn't be able to sleep through the noise. As it turned out, the party ended at around 5:30, an hour and 1/2 ahead of schedule.

Happy birthday a day early, cowboy. Welcome to the otherside of 35... tongue

Last night you came to me in a dream. You were cruel. You laughed as you clawed my heart out. There was anger, that borderlined on violence. I had to wake up but couldn't. It was like being a kid diving into the deepest part of a pool. You touch the bottom for the first time only to realize that you'd run out of air....

This was a good weekend, I must say. Saturday night I went and checked out a couple of DJ's at some crazy venue. I think it used to be called the B-Complex. Then went to say howdy to Germany at Valour. Had a drink and then went home to bed. On Zombie Jesus day I got up at 5:30 and went snowboarding with some people...

Last week I had a peculiar thing happen to me. I was at the laundry mat doin' my thang when a homeless guy came in to wash his stuff. This guy smelled like he had just smoked an entire carton of ciggerettes in less than an hour. He smelled worse than you could possibly smell after spending an entire night in a smokey bar. Anyway,...

Hello all, So this has a been weird couple of months. Work has been awful but the snow has been good. I got my new skis all set up and did a couple of trips this week end. Saturday I went out to the White River snowpark four a short trip that almost ended in disaster. Well, me spending the night in a snow cave,...

I wish I was driving and camping along the way. I just bought the air mattress and sleeping bag cuz I need 'em and they were on sale. smile

I'm flying down there next Monday. This is an all-expenses paid, nice day rate, good per diem gig I have for that Rod Stewart concert. My bunk mate is an Austin native, so I'm sure we'll go to all the good haunts. You know me and old school dives love

Oh yes... four more moons and counting...

Speaking of help, my hair is in desperate need of some help. It's poofy all over the damn place.

Well, I'm back. 'Bout fucking time, right? Some of you may be wondering were the hell I've been, some may not, but here it goes anyway. After L.A. I was pretty tuckered out. I had about thirty minutes a day to myself in the eleven days I was down there. I don't do well with that much people time. That thirty minutes consisted of showering,...

I wish I could sleep more. After having a groovy evening with the SGPDX peeps I came home and worked on a song for a bit then bounded out of bed at seven, sheesh. I'm so glad I've forced myself to stop being a hermit and started going out to do things. It's so easy for me to do that. To stay home and do...

It doesn't seem possible that the perfect day can turn to shit in an hour. But that's what happened, yup. This morning after getting up at five a.m. I drove up to Mt. Hood for a day of boarding and had three hours of perfect conditions ( well perfect for me anyway ). Powder, powder and more powder. It was brilliant. Dare I say, (dare,...

I'm better at compliments when they're on a screen.

I had a dream the other night that you turned into a cat. A skinny black cat. I'm pretty sure that you could have changed back at will, though. (I don't know why you were in my dream, but don't worry, lots of other people were too.)
lalindaloca:
Hahaha! Venice, he can change into a skinny black cat at will. Watch out! wink
