So last night i knew things could be a little difficult when the guy before me (Shed The Idea's Man) who's a real life inventor, madman, and owner of rather lovely black sparkly nails, finished his set by exhibiting his flying fuck copter (the word fuck with propellers). he was awesome and gave me some good nail tips.

I was nervous as its been a while and also i knew some of the other comedians where pros. but yeah, fuck it, i got up and did some fun improve and got things rolling. not a bad set, Had a few people really laughing, but i think i lost some people. i have some complicated ideas and i talk fast which can create problems, for instance: there's a part in my set where Charles Darwin appears, dressed as a member of Kiss, as an extention of my psyche to promt me to kiss a girl, but instead i debate the usefulness of his manifestation. i think people got lost around about there. haha, well i've rewritten it and reminded my self that clear logic, even in the depths of the absured is crucial.

I was a little gutted afterwards until a guy came over to tell me he loved it. If i got one im happy! thanks random dude.

there's a open mic Thursday i'd love to go and try the re-write (especially as i have no shows till November 19th), but that would mean 24hrs in my room talking to myself again. hmm, im sick of me right now.
