Been almost two years without actually contributing of any note.

Stay tuned for another two.

I toy with leaving, but it's a bit dramatic. Check things every now and then, but for the most part I'm not fucked with this anymore.

But I'm just checking in, so you know I'm still alive and well. Ish.

H20 were so so good. I was really mad at myself though cause it was insanely hot and I had to bail out before they finished...which sucked. At least it was a small venue and I could still hear them outside!
lil_em:
Where are you? How are you?

Hope your eyeball is better now, that laser surgery scares the shit outta me xx

I had no idea they were doing Where The Wild Things Are! I had to go check it out, the monsters really reminded me of the giant flying dog thing from Never Ending Story. Looks awesome though!

Hi Daisy, how are you keeping? sorry I never got back to you the weekend I was down in Cork, I ended up staying in Cobh for all of it expect for the ball itself that was in Mary.. somewhere of other. Myself and the ex got on better than I expected, not nearly as much fighting as usually. There's still no gossip for you though I'm afraid.

Your only a little older then me! I don't want to look over 30! I think the womanly wisdom part goes a little over my head tho, except for the weeing standing up part. I don't miss half as much as I used to!
I don't think I ever looked 22, I kinda skipped from 21 to 25 in the looks department!
Now, its off to the off license to facilitate my impending inebriation.

Indeed, hello. biggrin

The gym is my best friend, but we are falling out fast and hard.

No-one is more surprised by me than my new found love of the gym. I joined over a year ago, and planned to go once a week, that quickly turned into twice a week. Then i stopped going. Which is the usual pattern for gym patronage. But i started going again....

Ha - I'm not sure I'm smart enough to have a great answer for that question!

What I can tell you is that over time, I've come to realize that most of the things we get all worked up about aren't nearly as dire as they seem at the time. Even if I never make another mistake in my life, it's not going to get me out of here alive. In recent years I've lost my dad, my only sibling and my best friend. But even though it's been a rough period, what I've taken away from it is that I need to strive to be more positive and have more fun with however much time I have left on this planet. It's a terrible waste to not enjoy life, and there's no reason we can't enjoy it regardless of what's happening at a given point in time, even if involves tragedy.

Just do your best, try to make smart choices but avoid being overly fearful, and try to learn when you make mistakes rather than allowing them to blind you.

Friends are amazing.

Not so long ago, i was sort of upset becuase i didn't feel like i had many (any) friends. As in the friends who are there for you, no matter what, and you can have fun with, and cry on their shoulder, and all the amazing stuff inbetween. I really wanted that, and i was getting so worked up, cuz i didn't...

Friends are the best thing that god ever created!Seriously if you break up with someone and you're friends are there, then you have the best kind of buds!dude I'm not guna lie that break up sounds utterly horrible. Can I tell ya something though?I think you should make a break for it.Cork/Ireland is not being good to you!I only say that because it's sort of a load of shite here most of the time and the world is large..and I also remember you saying that you wanted to dash out when I told you that I was bouncing!
we should go for a tea.I'm okay at cheering people up but I'd give it a go.I hope you're ok frown

Hey - I thought about what you said on my blog post, and you're right. I apologized to her for being such a bag of douche and promised not to encroach on her privacy again. She _does_ deserve my trust and does not deserve to be checked up on. Thanks again for the advice. smile

I've never been cheated on by a boyfriend. Not in my adult life at any rate. I can hear you all scream now that i've gotten off so lightly, and how lucky i am. And while i agree on most levels, there's a downside to it too.

Y'see, every boyfriend i've had hasn't left me cuz he met someone better, or got caught out cheating....

Hug, how are you doing?

I mention you in my blog today. wink kiss

What happened? I hope you're alright.

Think I've said this before, but no it isn't because of you. The things people do are a reflection on them, you're a great person and shouldn't blame yourself.

Take care shipmate x
