Last week on Wheel of Fortune the answer to a 'place' clue was Lubbock. My mom asked me where the hell that was and I said 'Texas!'. The only reason I knew that is because of you. Ha.

I hope you're doing okay. kiss
crunchykitty:
Thanks for the birthday wishes, cutie.

And it is always nice to see the mountains when you are from an area that gets 50 MPH winds regularly since it is completely flat for 100 miles around (you remember those winds don't...

I know the feeling exactly. That's the worst isn't it? There is nothing better, however, than a kiss so strong that the electricity runs to the tip of your toes.

Hey thanks, I've been trying to be cool for years. I'm glad to hear I've succeeded on some level.

Anyway, you were in Russia for a semester? That's cool. I was there in '91 just before the coup. Did you notice how beautiful the women are there?

This is actually a quote on a church sign here. "The wages of sin are death. Repent or die"
What the hell does that mean?!? tongue
I am not a religious person but wasn't Jesus without sin and yet he still died wink

Strange...
anticlimatic200:
It was prophesized that Jesus was going to die like that anyways. Essentially, he died so that we could all go to heaven.

Ah, the joys of having gone to a Catholic school for most of my young life. Granted, I'm a non-practicing Catholic and I don't follow most of the church's teachings, but I still remember my bible stories wink

Also, it's not uncommon for a church to instill fear among people. Again, the Catholic church is a prime example of that *shakes fist*
