(we almost got busted too, lmao)

I already miss home. well not San Antonio so much...but the people. It is really two different sets of people I deal with.

I know what you mean about wanting to leave your life behind...but as was pointed out in a slightly uh...altered state of mind type conversation betwixt Howard and myself...you can never really leave your life behind...cause it's always you and it's always your life....even sometimes after you die...just like you cannot really "be somebody else" you can only be yourself being somebody else. oh and the Springs rule the universe. Man, I was getting so used to you being around at all hours of the day...now you have to go back to the daily drudgery and our contact will be hit or miss. I will be in Portland Friday-Tuesday but I will still be online some while I'm there. You know some of us can't stay away from the internet, even on vacation.

of course i'm crazy if i wasnt crazy what fun would life be then i mean come on half of the guys in my unit know i'm crazy especialy after they heard i was trying to get around the military's policy on tattoos and piercing by using the religious clause and by the way the chaplin says its legit i just have to work it out with my shirt and legal with whom i'm meeting next tuesday so the results should be in and should be final by next friday and if so i already know what i'm getting done

well I tried to post it as my profile pic but it won't change! it's a heraldic design of a wolf's head. I'll try to post it again or something. but I am super excited about it. I am going to get a couple tattoos done while I am home that I have been meaning to get. but when I went to Cuba I had to wait on them.

oh my woken up by a train. the apartment and the Blue Star are old converted warehouses...(turns out my Grandmother actually worked in one as an accountant on this huge old adding machine in the 40's) train tracks run about 20 feet behind the back wall. Train just came by going slow...squeeling sound of metal on metal death like a baby robot being tortured and torn to pieces. Awoken from a deep slumber. I was working in this house...not a brothel but a strip club with lots of private rooms. I was friends with some of the girls and would help them set up thier rooms at the beginning of thier shifts...of course I wasn't sleeping with any of them...I am an idiot that way...anyway there was some kind of oddness....lizards running loose in the building and a serial killer that I was hoping to keep away becuase he was sending evil postcards....(competing influences of SG, having seen Red Dragon, and read the Enigma comic I guess) I don't want to be awake right now...things were odd last night.

i havent seen red dragon yet but i have had teh book for over 7 years and william blake is one of my favorites. i might be going to see it toonight though

Sorry about the late word on SA. I cut my visit pretty short, once the folks in DC told me I'll have my choice of Residencies (= Fort Lewis.) I did manage to "dine" at Taco Cabana and drank a Coors (the best choice considering) to you. I chowed! Otherwise, it was all bidness at Brooke and Wilford Hall. September is still too hot and muggy for me. I'm only an administrative Texan.
