i am so sorry to hear about the death of the car. i went through that earlier this year with my poor little honda civic. only it wasn't an accident, it was me not checking the oil level in my car and driving entirely too fast and throwing a rod and punching a big hole in my engine. all while just trying to take a trip to the beach. but you know what? cars can be such burdens and perhaps your european travels will be much lighter without having to worry about one while you are gone. one less possession cluttering up your life, i say. and i am sooooooo jealous that you got to see nisi.
