Welp, it happened! I’m finally sterile!
The recovery, overall, was unfortunately about two weeks. Keep in mind, I live by myself, so I must do all chores myself. Getting up from a chair was the most tasking. But I’m now totally healed.
This is a choice of a lifetime for me. Now, with Roe being overturned, I knew it was time to contribute. But, this choice goes further back. Ever since I was 8, I knew I never wanted kids after seeing my mother ran her own daycare center. When I was 12, I learned what a vasectomy was and knew I wanted one. When I was 16, my grandmother overheard me talk about not wanting kids and said to me “you’ll want them one day.”
Well, 23 years later, I still don’t want any and now it’s permanent.
