I find the occasional disk crash is really useful for a fresh start, but there are always one or two files that are irreplacable and lost (despite trying to regularly backup) and it's just heartbreaking when you realise that one photo or song you've written or whatever else is gone forever.

my LA adventures got cut short (dude i was supposed to shoot broke his ankles on sunday), so back in NYC for a couple of days before heading out to Chicago. I think I'm back in Detroit first week of September, though.
