Did you know that armadillos, can have a fertilized egg in them, and they can postpone their pregnancy for up to three years? How bad ass is that? Wouldn't it be amazing if humans could do that? I bet the rate of abortions would go way down.
The other thing that is cool about armadillos is that they always give birth to quadruplets..every single time. That is because their fertilized egg splits into four, and they either have 4 females or 4 males that are genetically exactly the same.
And this my friends is why I love watching animal planet...it kind of makes me feel like that little kid in jerry mcguire, that says random facts like "did you know the human head weighs eight pounds?" I'm just like that except for with animal facts...
