Being straight edge is the only thing I have ever really "stuck" to. Every diet plan, every friendship, every hobby I fall into. They have faded. I go back and forth. But I have been straight edge for 8 years. Never faded. Never turned on me. It's a part of me. Its who I am. No one else has to accept it, no body else has to be edge. It's not for everyone. And it's not easy for everyone. But for me, it's my life. It's my choice. And I'm proud.

Yeah I'm the same too, that's me a year in since I went back being a straight edge and it has help me big time. I'm all about the sober party now. I don't want to be high, be drunk or be surrounded by ppl who do. It's made me embrace myself and I'm more happier for it. Straight edge 4 life!!

so very proud of you! Congrats on 8 years xx I'm not completely straight edge as I get high sometimes but it's been around 6 years off alcohol myself too.
