I understand some people inflict self harm as a way to deal with things, and I know there are people on SG who do the same. Most of them however will only show this side to extremely close friends. If they post it, it'll be private. This to me seems like you're upset about the negative criticism that's come your way and you're trying to get sympathy from everyone. I've known enough cutters to tell when someone is honestly in need of help, and when they just want people to feel bad for them so they'll be nice.

It doesn't work, and it just makes you look like a child holding their breath whilst throwing a tantrum.
