Someone stole our car last night.

This is fucked.

We are fucked.

This was not a good time for a crisis.

my friend was telling me today that his friend is trying to patent a bicycle that can actually transport a person on rail lines. the bike would rely on the pedal power of the cyclist (conductor?). to switch tracks, you have to life the bike off and track and move it to the next rail.

i'm sorry to hear that, man.
aeg:
Pedal power of the cyclist? is this...... don't you..... I'm confused.

I just got home from the SGATLiens 1st anniversary get together at the Vortex. It was great to see so many people there, though Wyspurr, Belfazaar (who has been crashing with us the past week), and I mostly interacted with delirium_faerie and Jabberwocky whom were pretty much strangers to me. Bar situations are usually pretty tough to really interact as a group.

It was...

God-Fucking-Dammit!

I recieved a book I won off ebay today...unfortunately, I can't access the damned thing because the moron postal worker who put it in the mailbox did not consider that the hardcover book would not fit through the front of the mailbox where I get my mail from...just because it goes into the back doesn't mean that it can come out the front. Since...

I just got home from watching Spider-Man 2. I've been fiending for it for months but things kept screwing up my plans to see it every day since it came out until today (and it was a close call today). I loved it. I'm really glad I didn't let myself get tempted into reading any spoilers...overall, the movie rocked. It could be nit-picked, but only...

hey man, make no bones about it. we'll ride in style towards this "party" just like the last time if it suits you. you call me to see if i'm not trying to impress someone's ex girlfriend tomorrow evening. otherwise, the plan is on.

also, don't adhere to the cosmic slump that affects us all during this time of humid disaster. as a wetback, imagine my stress when walking to a bar, or even a record store.

spiderman two. well, i'd have to say "yes" to the movie. i couldn't help but sink into my seat under the heavy hand of Irony. but, good ol' sam managed to entertain me cinematically in ways i cannot yet understand. self-mockery in such a "summer-time film" leaves much MUCH respect. the man KNOWS what he is doing.

Children Of The Winter
by Warrior Soul

this fight's for you and me in the land of the free
the rock minority against hypocrisy
they crucify our words but they don't understand
we wan't a better world and a share of our land

they point at us but we're their children
we fight because they thaught us to be free

the land where our fathers...

Atlanta was great last weekend. Between Skinny Puppy, Gay Pride weekend and some religious speaker the city must have been packed!

Got an email from my most recent failed relationship today...a cut and paste of a conversation between her and one of my friends about me (and why she flaked out on me)...an interesting thing to recieve after several months of incommunicado. Nothing too surprising, but it does bring old sadness back to the surface.

It's nice to know she still cares and that she's still...

Boy, I'm missing my copy of "The Sound Of White Noise" by Anthrax. I wish I'd asked Wyspurr to grab some of my CD collection while she's getting stuff from the old place in NC tomorrow.

I went to the Star Bar tonight and caught a few metal bands and hung out with the delightful Druj. Much fun and well worth the whole five...

I'm off today. Gotta see if there's anything I can get into.

Belfazaar is supposed to come down tomorrow to get Wyspurr and take her up to Asheville to get the new car. After that life will be a lot smoother and we'll be able to get a lot more done. Being carless in Atlanta hasn't been as bad as being carless in Asheville, but...
