Why do I like the color green?

Anyone? Anyone?

But the color blue just loves me. It enjoys spending time with me. It enjoys making me look good. I dont hate the color blue, dont get me wrong. The color blue just isnt sexy. Im not attracted to the color blue.

But why? Why dont I like blue? Is it like something out of the book Blink where Im thin slicing and I should just trust whatever it is my subconscious is picking up on that tells me I dont like it even though I cant put it into words? Or do I not like blue simply because blue likes me?

But Ive been living in a black and white world for too long, so I tried being with the color blue for a while. Tried it on. Enjoyed the idea of the color blue. Had some good times. But after wearing the color blue, I never wanted to hang out and talk with it. I never wanted to be seen wearing it. I never missed the color blue when I wasnt wearing it. I never had the color blue on my mind. After a while, color alone wasnt worth it, so slowly I stopped wearing blue.

Damn. I miss color.

And tomorrows my birthday.

Sure, I could have called blue up tonight and gotten some good color. It was so tempting

But I didnt.

Im holding out for the color green. Even though sometimes I feel like the only colors that like me are shades of blue.
