Pedestrians get hit in my neighborbood way too often. I had to navigate through another police baracade today on my way home from work.

There are a couple reasons for this. The street that I live off of has, in order, a cool, kinda funky sex shop (nothing to do with this, just interesting), an old folks home (lots of slow pedestrians), a DMV (lots of bad drivers), a homeless shelter (more pedestrians), and a transexual latino drag revue bar (that people often stager out of drunk, even in the middle of the day).

This is why nobody walks in LA, people.
