So my boyfriend's at his awesome new job with his awesome new co-workers, and I'm stuck here talking about the rise and fall of the copper market and shipping rates from Texas. I have to say I'm a bit jealous.

But he comes home to me everyday now, and I couldn't be happier. smile

These journal entries might get less sappy with time.

I made White Cheddar Chipotle Mashed Potatoes last night. I think I may eat them everyday for the rest of my life. They were that good. I love having someone to cook for.

Apparently that cheese is quite difficult to find. I looked for it on three different occasions at probably a dozen cheese venders and even a few specialty stores and no one had it. Funny thing is that everyone knew EXACTLY what I was looking for . . . "Sorry mate, not this month. Maybe try me next"

Today was an awesome UPS day. I am the queen of online shopping. I got home and my new:

- super expensive bra
- fishnet stockings
- wireless modem
- cookie packing stuff

were all waiting for me. I would have kissed the UPS driver if he'd still been here.

question: with the 100 million things going on in your life- are you doing the rachels cookies thing for real? if so, i'd like to know how i could order- or are you going to launch sometime this summer or?

basically those cookies and presentation were so flawless (the colours, the taste, the fact that they traveled across almost the entire country without a single crumble or crack) that i want to send some out to friends in the next couple months.

i think it's a brilliant idea for a business and should make you piles of money.
